Council Agendas 2008: Public Hearings - April 3

The City Council wil hold two public hearings on Thursday, April 3. The first hearing will be to consider funding for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The second hearing will be to consider a proposal to change certain street names in the City.




NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 3, as close to 6:45 pm as possible, in the City Council Chambers, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, UT. The purpose of the hearing is to hear a proposal to rename certain streets within the City. Property owners are encouraged to attend.

The proposal is to rename the following streets:
The section of 2300 E from Murray Holladay Road to 3900 S would be renamed Holladay Blvd
The section on Holladay Blvd from Laney Ave to 4500 S would be renamed Albright Dr
The section of Holladay Blvd from 4500 S to Highland Dr would be renamed Brighton Cutoff.

The proposal is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Holladay City offices, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, Utah, 84117 or by calling 527-3890.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to solicit public input on the proposed use of CDBG funds for the 2008-09 fiscal year. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard. Questions should be directed to Randy Fitts, City Manager at 272-9450.
