The City of Holladay began contracting with Salt Lake County for our animal control services on October 1, 2010.
Effective June 25th, Holladay City updated all animal ordinances and there are several major changes to Title 8. As a responsible pet owner, it’s important to know the laws and ordinances in your area. Click here to find out more

Lost pet? Go to www.AdoptUtahPets.comand click on 'lost pet' in the upper left corner. We also encourage you to come down the shelter and look for your pet and we encourage all owners looking for their pets to check back often.
SLCoAS offers a wide range of services for the lost and abandoned pets in our care as well as resources for the community. In addition to our Adoption, Foster, Rescue and Volunteer Programs, we offer the following:
Low cost pet vaccinations and microchips (microchips are only $5 through October 31st)
American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (AKC CGC) dog training classes for only $40
FREE Cat adoption program (includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and a bag of food)
$50 Dog adoptions through October 31st (includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, a bag of food and a box of treats)
The Salt Lake County Pit Crew offers activities and education opportunities that promote responsible dog ownership
Free spay/neuter and vaccination programs at different times during the year in collaboration with our 501c3 affiliate UTAH F.A.C.E.S. (www.utahfaces.org)
