5:00 p.m. Briefing Session & Work Meeting (The Council will be eating dinner during the discussion beginning at 5pm)
6:00 p.m. Council Meeting

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay Municipal Council will hold a City Council meeting in the Council Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m. It is possible that a member of the Council will be participating by electronic means. The Council Chambers shall serve as the anchor location.

IV. Consideration of Ordinance 09-01 Amending Section 13.76 of the City Code Regarding Street Tree Protection
This ordinance will regulate the removal and replacement of trees on public property, along streets and adjacent to streams and canals.

 V. Consideration of Ordinance 09-02 Amending Section 13.14.071 of the City Code Relating to the Building Corridor
This ordinance modifies the definition of the buildable corridor on residential properties.

a. Fire Station Discussion – 7:15pm (20 mins)
Chief Don Berry and County Council Member Michael Jenson will meet with the Council to discuss issues related to the Unified Fire Authority, Holladay fire station building and the Unified Fire Authority District

b. Discussion on City Hall & Park – (60 mins)
The Council will meet with representatives from Glascock to review and discuss conceptual plans for city hall, the park and fire station properties

c. Community Events – (20 mins) Council will continue its discussion regarding ideas for city sponsored community events

d. Economic Development – (40 mins) Council will discuss methods to promote and increase economic development within the city’s commercial areas.

e. Discussion on City Newspaper Editorial Policy – (15 min) Review and discuss a proposed council policy for the city newspaper

f. Holladay Village – (15 mins) Update on the status of development plans and negotiations in the Village Center

g. Calendar - (10 mins) Review and discuss upcoming council agendas

h. Other Business

X. Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-204 & 205 to Discuss Personnel Issues, Potential Litigation and Property Acquisition and Disposition –(If needed)

On Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 4:30 pm a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and state noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
