The City Council will hold two public hearings on November 13 at 6pm . The first hearing will be on the issuance of Muncipal Energy and Road Tax Revenue Bonds
The second hearing will be to discuss amendments to the Noise ordinance and hours of construction.
NOTICE OF CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ISSUE SALES TAX REVENUE BONDS
The City intends to issue the Bonds for the purpose of (a) financing all or a portion of the costs of constructing, repairing and maintaining the Project, (b) providing for any necessary reserves and contingencies in connection with the Bonds, and (c) paying the costs incurred in connection with the issuance and sale of the Bonds. The City will hold a public hearing on November 13, 2008 at 6:00 pm. The public hearing will be held at the regular meeting place of the Council at City Hall, 4580 South 2300 East, in Holladay, Utah. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the City, to the attention of the City Recorder, prior to the public hearing The purpose of the hearing is to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and the potential economic impact that the Project will have on the private sector
HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION The current ordinance currently allows the hours of construction from 7am-9pm, year round. The Council is proposing to change the hours of construction from 7am -8pm during daylight standard time (winter) and 7am-9pm during daylight savings time (summer).
