The City Manager and CIty Council will hold a joint public hearing on January 18 at 6:15pm on a proposed street vacation at approximately 3000 E and Big Cottonwood Rd.
NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL
AND CITY MANAGER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 18th day of January, 2007, at the hour of 6:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible of said day in the Council Chambers of the City of Holladay, 4580 South 2300 East, Holladay Utah, the Municipal Council sitting as the land use authority will hold and conduct a joint public hearing with the City Manager on and pertaining to the vacating of a portion of a roadway located at approximately Big Cottonwood Road and 3000, City of Holladay, State of Utah, and pertaining to the possible vacation of the property and the declaration of the property as surplus property. The parcel contains approximately 8589 square feet. The roadway has been relocated and a building has been built over the parcel.
The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment concerning the proposed vacating and declaration of surplus of the described parcel. The parcel is landlocked and if vacated and declared surplus, it would be proposed to sell the parcel for fair market value to the adjacent landowner. Copies of the survey are available for review at City Hall, Attention: Community Development Department. For further information call Alma Haskell, City Planner at 272-9450.
