NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 16th day of November, 2006, at the hour of 6:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible of said day in the Council Chambers of the City of Holladay, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay Utah, the Municipal Council will hold and conduct a Public Hearing on and pertaining to the vacating of a portion of a right-of-way located at approximately 6593 S. Canyon Cove Dr., Salt Lake County, State of Utah, and pertaining to the possible vacation of the right-of-way and the declaration of the property as surplus property. The parcel contains approximately 423.69 square feet. The proposal has been favorably recommended to the City Council by the Planning Commission.
The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment concerning the proposed vacating and declaration of surplus of the described parcels. The parcel is located at the end of Canyon Cove Drive which road has never been open to public traffic to access property to the south located outside of the corporate limits of the city of Holladay. It is anticipated that if the property is vacated, such property would be given in approximately equal parcels to the adjacent property owners. Easements for public utilities, if any, will not be considered to be vacated and declared surplus.
