CITY OF HOLLADAY CITY COUNCIL
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2011

5:00 p.m. Council Dinner – Council members will be eating dinner, which they pay for personally. No city business will be discussed.
5:30 p.m. Briefing Session – The Council will review and discuss the agenda items; NO decisions will be made.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay Municipal Council will hold a City Council meeting in the Council Chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m. It is possible that a member of the Council will be participating by electronic means. The Council Chambers shall serve as the anchor location.

I. Welcome – Mayor Webb
II. Pledge of Allegiance
III. Public Comments - the public is invited to address the City Council on any subject for three minutes, five minutes for a group spokesperson, additional time allotted at the discretion of the chairperson. Comments which cannot be made within these time limits should be submitted in writing to the City Recorder prior to noon the day before the meeting so they can be copied and distributed to the Council
IV. Public Hearing to Receive Input on the Issuance of up to $3,500,000 Principal Amount of Sales Tax Revenue Bonds of the City to Finance all or a Portion of the Cost of Acquiring, Constructing and Improving a New Fire Station and Other Improvements within the City that the City is Authorized by Law to Acquire, Construct, Repair or Improve and the Potential Economic Impact that such Projects will have on the private sector. – The Council is considering a bond in the amount of $3.5 million to finance a new fire station on Murray-Holladay Road to replace the existing fire station that has been condemned as unsafe.
V. Consideration of Resolution 2011-31 Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of not more than $10,300,000 Sales Tax Revenue Improvement and Refunding Bonds; Delegating Authority to Certain Officials and Officers of the City to Approve the Final Terms and Provisions of Such Bonds; Authorizing the Execution and Delivery of Certain Documents Relating to Such Bonds and Providing for Related Matters. – in conjunction with the above bond, the council is considering refinancing an existing bond to take advantage of lower interest rates.
VI. Consideration of Resolution 2011-16 Authorizing the Mayor to Execute an Agreement for the Sale of a Conservation Easement by Salt Lake County for Property Located at Approx. 6293 S Holladay Blvd - Salt Lake County has offered to help fund the creation of Knudsen Park by purchasing a conservation easement on part of the property
VII. Consideration of Resolution 2011-32 Granting the Advice and Consent of the City Council for the Appointment of a Member to the Planning Commission

On Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 am a copy of the foregoing revised notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the Holladay City Hall, Holladay, UT. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and state noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
