PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay Municipal Council will hold a City Council meeting in the Council Chambers beginning at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. It is possible that a member of the Council will be participating by electronic means. The Council Chambers shall serve as the anchor location.
5:00 p.m. Council Dinner
5:30 p.m. Briefing Session – The Council will review and discuss the agenda items; no decisions will be made
6:30 p.m. Council Meeting – or soon thereafter

II. Public Comments
(the public is invited to address the City Council on any subject for three minutes, five minutes for a group spokesperson, additional time allotted at the discretion of the chairperson. Comments which cannot be made within these time limits should be submitted in writing to the City Recorder prior to noon the day before the meeting so they can be copied and distributed to the Council.)
III. Consideration of Resolution 2011- Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of up to $10,300,000 Aggregate Principal Amount of Sales Tax Revenue Improvement and Refunding Bonds of the City of Holladay, Salt Lake County, UT, to be Issued in one or more series; Fixing the Maximum Aggregate Principal Amount of the Bonds, the Maximum Number of Years Over Which the Bonds May Mature and the Maximum Interest Rate that the Bonds may bear; Providing for the Publication of a Notice of Bonds to be Issued; Providing for the Running of a Contest Period; Authorizing the Circulation of the Preliminary Official Statement with Respect thereto; Providing for the Publication of a Notice of Public Hearing and the Holding of a Public Hearing; and Providing for Related Matters.
(the Council is considering refinancing an existing bond to take advantage of lower interest rates)
IV. Consideration of Resolution 2011- Granting Advice and Consent of the City Council for the Appointment of Augustus Griffith Chin as Justice Court Judge for the City of Holladay Justice Court

On Monday, August 22, 2011 at 3:00 pm a copy of the foregoing revised notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the Holladay City Hall, Holladay, UT. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and state noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
