The 2011 Salt Lake City Marathon & 5K will take place on Saturday April 16th beginning at 6am so plan your day accordingly.
Come out and cheer the runners and cyclists on as they run and bike past your house!
At all major intersections there will be an “Intersection Traffic Officer” to facilitate cross-traffic flow whenever there are breaks in runners and it is safe to do so. The route will follow 2300 E to Holladay Blvd southbound to 6200 S. then west on 6200 S.
Also, at least one lane of traffic is kept open in one direction to facilitate traffic flow along the race course. The only exception is 6200 South from Holladay Blvd to 2300 East where both lanes will be closed during the race. Many of the runners should be through Holladay by 11:00am.
