Public Hearing Notice - Fences - May 15, 2003

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 15, at 6:00 pm in the Holladay City Council Chambers, 4707 S Holladay Blvd, Holladay UT. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a text change to the Holladay City Zoning Ordinance (Title 13).

The proposed text change will amend the fencing language in the R-1 Zones to allow fences higher than four feet in the front yard on properties within the City which front onto streets with higher traffic volumes and wider street widths. The proposed language would require a landscaped setback of these higher fences and limits the maximum height of any fence in these front yards to six feet.

The proposed ordinance is available for public inspection and may be examined during regular business hours at the Holladay City offices, 4707 S Holladay Blvd, Holladay Utah, 84117.
