NOTICE OF A WORK MEETING OF THE
CITY OF HOLLADAY CITY COUNCIL
THURSDAY, APRIL 8, 2010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a work meeting on Thursday, April 8 at 5:00pm. (The Council will be eating dinner during the discussion beginning at 5pm) The meeting will be held in the Mt. Olympus Room at Holladay City Hall – 4580 S 2300 E. NO decisions will be made at this meeting.
The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Welcome & Call to Order – Mayor Webb
2. Update on Proposed Rezone for the Tiburon Apts
Proposal to go from C-2 (commercial) to RM (Mulitfamily Residential) failed. Council will discuss options
3. Update on Development Projects in Cottonwood Heights
(update on Canyons Resort Residential ordinance (Tavaci) and General Plan amend to allow for 12 story bldgs. (Beckstrand))
4. Update on Regional Growth Principles
Regional Growth Principles used to guide land use decisions for municipalities
5. Discussion on School Awards
Consider ways to get more involved in the schools and offering awards to graduating Seniors
6. Update on Holladay Village
a. Update on Advisory Committee –update from Committee meetings reviewing appeal of Planning Commission approval
b. Construction Update on Plaza
7. Knudsen Park Planning (discussion only)
Council to consider Planning Commission recommendation on General Plan amendment
8. Discussion on Communication Issues
Consider ways to better communicate with Holladay citizens
9. Review of Council Goals
Review of goals and assignments from the Council’s annual planning retreat in Jan.
10. Calendar – upcoming meetings
11. Other Business
12. Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-204 & 205 to Discuss Personnel Issues, Potential Litigation and Property Acquisition and Disposition –(If needed)
13. Adjourn
On Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:00 am a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and the State noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
