Proposed Condo Development in Village

The Planning Commission has received an appoication for a Condominium development proposed on edge of Holladay Village. Developers are requesting rezoning of a small parcel of land, less than a half-acre, along Murray Holladay Road where the community garden is presently located.

Dumpsters & Playground CLOSURE- May 14

This year dumpsters will be located in the Holladay City Hall parking lot, directly behind City Hall on Saturday, May 14 from 8am -4pm. Please enter on the North side of City Hall and exit on the south side.

Acceptable waste includes: yard clippings, tree limbs/branches, building materials, metals, tires, furniture, T.V’s and appliances. NOT accepted: hazardous waste (paint, motor oil, etc) and other household chemicals and refrigerators/freezers. Please direct any questions to Tosh Kano at 801-244-6103

****  The playground behind City Hall will be CLOSED on Saturday, May 14 from 8:00 am – 5:00pm to accommodate the city clean up.  We are concerned for the safety of the children and parents due to the number of cars and big trucks we will have driving back and forth behind city hall.

Household Hazardous Waste Day - May 19

Bring you household hazardous waste to the lot south of City  Hall on Thursday, May 19 from 7-10:00 am ONLY!
Household hazardous waste is anything in and around your home that is poisonous, flammable, corrosive or toxic. These include cleaning supplies, yard chemicals, pesticides, paints, fuels, batteries, oil, and antifreeze. You may also bring your electronic waste (computers, tv’s..)

General Plan Public Hearing -

The Holladay General Plan is our community blueprint for future growth and change. In order to stay current and ensure that the plan reflects our vision for the future, the plan must be updated every few years.

Vegetation Management Work

Rocky Mountain Power will begin scheduled vegetation maintenance in Holladay in early May, in the general area between Holladay Boulevard to I-215, and 4500 South to 6200 South. This work is expected to continue through August.  The utility prunes trees near power lines to ensure safety and electric service reliability for customers.  Customers will receive advance notification of one to six weeks if work is necessary on their property..
