WORK SESSION AGENDA ITEMS
(NO decisions will be made at this meeting)
1. Discussion of a proposed amendment to Title 13.55 - Commercial Zones and Chapter 13.80 - Parking.
The proposal includes a new Neighborhood Commercial Zone (NC), Amendments to the C-1 and C-2 Zones renaming the zones to Boulevard Commercial (BC) and General Commercial (GC) respectively. The proposed amendment would also address;
1. Development standards for each zone;
2. A purpose statement for each zone;
3. Amendments to the permitted and conditional use lists, and
4. Amendments to the number of parking spaces required for uses allowed in the city.
Other potential amendments to these commercial zones and the current and future application of zoning throughout the city may also be discussed.
