CITY PLANNER II - Current Planning

The City of Holladay is seeking qualified individuals for the position of City Planner II, Current Planning. This full-time, mid-level position requires the performance of professional land use planning duties. The position is responsible for processing building permits, providing technical assistance to the general public including meeting with residents and developers, writing and presenting technical reports to city boards and commissions regarding land use codes and development proposals, maintaining excellent relationships with other related agencies, and exercising limited supervision of other employee(s), among other duties.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be self-motivated, have proven verbal and writing skills, talent with databases, GIS, and other software related to the position and the ability to immediately fit in with other employees in a teamwork environment. The pay commences in the low to mid $40's and offers generous fringe benefits. A strong preference will be given to those with pertinent experience and a degree in Urban Planning or a closely related field.
