6:30 PM    PRE-MEETING / WORK SESSION -All agenda items may be discussed.            


ACTION ITEMS     (The following matter is a Public Hearing.  It will be heard and may be voted on.  Notice to the public has been provided as required by law.)

7:00 PM    1.    Residential Office (RO) Zone  – Planners: Community Development Director Paul Allred
            & Pat Hanson – This proposed new zone is intended to accommodate conversion of
            homes along major streets into professional offices.  A final draft of this zone is being
            considered by the Planning Commission to recommend to the City Council.  (This item is a
            Public Hearing.)

(The following matters will be heard and may be voted on.  Public Notice is not required.)
7:30 PM    2.    Cottonwood Place Assisted Living Center – Northwest corner of 5600 South and
            Highland Dr. – Preliminary Permitted Site Plan  - R-M Zone – Planner: Rick Whiting –
            Agent for the Applicant, Sahara Construction, requests approval to construct a 138 bed
            Assisted Living I & II facility.   (This item is not a Public Hearing.)

8:00 PM    3.    Sandpiper Apartments Leasing Office and Clubhouse -1492 E Spring Lane, –
        Preliminary Permitted Site Plan - R-M Zone – Planner: Rick Whiting – Applicant, K-W
        Properties / Sandpiper Apartments requests approval for a 2,795  sq. foot building on a .33
    acre lot to be used for administrative offices and as a “demonstration club room” for prospective tenants.  (This item is not a Public Hearing.)

4.    Approve Minutes of the March 5 and 19, 2013


5.    Residential Office (RO) Zone  – Planners: Community Development Director Paul Allred
            & Pat Hanson –The Commission will consider input received from the public and discuss
            recommending adoption of the RO zone to the City Council.  (This item is discussion only.)


                          6.         Updates or follow-up on items currently in the development review process
              7.         Report from Staff on upcoming applications
              8.         Discussion of possible future amendments to code


On Monday, April 15, 2013 at 9:30 am a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah.  A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder.  A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9A-205 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at and state noticing website at
