The City of Holladay and surrounding communities built along the Wasatch Front are also directly above the long Wasatch Fault, and an earthquake is the most likely natural disaster to affect us. The Great Utah ShakeOut will give us the opportunity to analyze our preparedness of what to do during and after an earthquake disaster. The ShakeOut Drill is scheduled for Tuesday, April 17 at 10:15am. At that time, participants will drop, cover, and hold on in schools, workplaces, homes, and communities across Utah. Holladay City Hall is participating in the Great Utah ShakeOut and we invite you and your family to as well! You can officially register to be a part of the exercise at www.ShakeOut.org/Utah. You can also follow @UtahShakeOut on twitter, or www.facebook.com/UtahShakeOut.
