The City of Holladay Redevelopment Agency Board (RDA) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 6:15 pm, or as close to that time as possible, at City Hall, 4580 South 2300 East, in the City Council chambers. The agenda is now available
The purpose of the hearing is to take public comment on consideration by the RDA Board on the following two development proposals for the northwest corner of Holladay Boulevard and Murray-Holladay Road (the old Video Vern’s site).

Notice is hereby given that the City of Holladay Redevelopment Agency Board (RDA) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 6:15 pm, or as close to that time as possible, at City Hall, 4580 South 2300 East, in the City Council chambers.
The purpose of the hearing is to take public comment on consideration by the RDA Board on the following two development proposals for the northwest corner of Holladay Boulevard and Murray-Holladay Road (the old Video Vern’s site).
The first (original) proposal was presented by Cowboy Partners, and consisted of 2-3 story buildings, with retail uses on the ground floor and a maximum of 58 residential units on the upper floors. This original proposal was approved by the City Planning Commission in early 2010, and after an appeal, the plan was approved by the City Council in February 2011.
The second (alternate) proposal is presented by Rockworth Development and consists of 2 story buildings with retail uses on the ground floor and office uses on the second floor. This alternate proposal was only recently presented to the public in July 2011.
The RDA Board has been evaluating these two development proposals and seeks public input on whether the City RDA Board should continue with the original proposal or instead adopt and pursue the alternate proposal for the development of this site. We invite you to participate and provide your feedback either in person at the public hearing or by providing comments on the City's e-mail system (http://www.cityofholladay.com/home.comments.html). It is anticipated that the RDA Board will make a decision that evening.
You are also invited to attend an Open House on the alternate proposal which will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 6:30 pm in the Big Cottonwood room (basement) at City Hall
