The City Council and RDA Board will hold a joint work meeting on Thursday, August 11 at 5:30pm. The agenda is now available.
NOTICE OF A JOINT WORK MEETING OF THE
CITY OF HOLLADAY CITY COUNCIL and REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD
THURSDAY, AUGUST 11, 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a work meeting on Thursday, August 11 at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held in the Mt. Olympus Room at Holladay City Hall – 4580 S 2300 E. No decisions will be made.
5:00pm – Council Dinner (the Council will be eating dinner)
5:30pm – Work Meeting
The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Welcome and Call to Order – Mayor Webb
2. Public Comments to City Council & RDA Board on the Proposed Alternate Village Center Plan –
An alternate proposal for a 42,000 sq ft mixed-use commercial office over retail two story building has been proposed. (Because this is a work session, other public comments will not be taken. A public Open House on the proposal will be held August 17th. The next regular council meeting for public comment is August 18th in council chambers.)
3. Discussion with Holladay Chamber of Commerce -(discussion with the Chamber on Economic Development in Holladay)
4. Discussion on Village Center Timeline - (Evaluation of a possible timeline for approval of site plan and development agreement, should the alternate Village Center proposal be accepted)
5. Discussion on Options for Allocation of Future Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds (The reduction of federal funding of this program is bringing a reexamination of the process and agencies which are funded by the CDGB Program)
6. Calendar – upcoming meetings
7. Other Business – as may properly be introduced
8. Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-204 & 205 to Discuss Personnel Issues, Potential Litigation and/or Property Acquisition and Disposition –(If needed)
9. Adjourn
On Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 am a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and the State noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
