5:30 PM FIELD TRIP
Members of the Planning Commission will visit the proposed site of the Canyon Slope Square project. Members of the public, the developer and other interested parties are invited to join the Commission
at 3000 E and 6200 South.
7:00 PM CONVENE REGULAR MEETING
ACTION ITEMS (These matters will be heard and may be voted on.)
7:10 PM 1. Canyon Slope Square – 3000 E & 6200 South – Permitted Site Plan – Preliminary Site Plan – ORD zone – Planner: Rick Whiting – Sequoia Development proposes to develop a 123 room hotel on this site as well as three restaurants and a retail shop. (This is a “decision Item,” however, no public notice is required.)
DISCUSSION ITEMS (These items are scheduled to be discussed but no official actions will be taken)
2. General Plan Amendment – Highland Drive Corridor - Planner: Rick Whiting – A Proposed General Plan Amendment concerning the Highland Drive Corridor will be reviewed and discussed contemplating a Public Hearing and possible recommendation to the City Council to follow at the May 3, 2011Planning Commission Meeting.

3. Approve minutes of the March 29, 2011 Special meeting and the April 5, 2011 meeting.

4. Updates or follow-up on items currently in the development review process
