The City Council will hold a work meeting on Thursday, January 13 beginning at 5pm. The agenda is now available.
NOTICE OF A JOINT WORK MEETING OF THE
CITY OF HOLLADAY CITY COUNCIL AND
THE REDEVLOPMENT AGENCY (RDA) BOARD OF HOLLADAY
THURSDAY, JANURAY 13, 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council and the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) Board of Holladay will hold a joint work meeting on Thursday, January 13 at 5:00 pm. (The Council and Board will be eating dinner during the discussion beginning at 5pm.) The meeting will be held in the Mt. Olympus Room at Holladay City Hall – 4580 S 2300 E.
No decisions will be made at this meeting. The public is invited to observe the work session. Public comment generally is not taken during work sessions as public comments are accepted during regular council meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays.
The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Welcome and Call to Order – Mayor Webb
2. Interview Planning Commission Candidate
(the Council will interview a potential candidate to serve an at-large position on the City’s Planning Commission)
3. Holladay Village Center Development Presentation and report – Valda Tarbet –
(The City Council and the RDA Board will receive a report and financial analysis prepared by an independent financial advisor hired by the City as recommended by the Holladay Village Center Appeal Advisory Committee on the development proposed by Cowboy Partners and on alternatives recommended by the Advisory Committee for the property located at the corner of Holladay Blvd and Murray-Holladay Road (the former Video Vern’s property). This is the final piece of information the Council has requested before making a decision on the appeal and selection of a preferred plan)
4. Presentation on Special Assessment Bond for the RDA – Dale Okerlund
(the RDA will explore the possibility of a special assessment bond for new project in the Olympus EDA)
5. Calendar – upcoming meetings
6. Other Business – as may properly be introduced
7. Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-204 & 205 to Discuss Personnel Issues, Potential Litigation and Property Acquisition and Disposition –(If needed)
8. Adjourn
On Monday, January 10, 2011 at 4:00 pm a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and the State noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
