The City Council will hold three public hearings on Thursday, January 20 beginning at 6:15pm. The first hearing is to consider apppropriation for scholarships. The second is to consider amendments to the Multiple Family Residential Zone. The third hearing is to consider amendments to the ORD Zone.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold three public hearings on Thursday, January 20 , 2011 beginning as close to 6:15 pm as possible, in the Holladay City Council Chambers, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, UT.

Per Section 10-8-2 U.C.A. the City Council will be conducting a public hearing to consider the 2010/2011 Appropriation for Educational Scholarships for Granite School District.  The program identifying the benefits to the City associated with these scholarships is available for review at Holladay City Hall - 4580 S 2300 E Holladay UT.  Comments regarding this report should be sent in writing to Holladay City, attention City Recorder on or before January 19, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. M.D.T.

The purpose of the second hearing is to consider an amendment to the Holladay Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 13.32, Multiple Family Residential Zones. The proposed text changes include amending required lot sizes, building setbacks, lot widths, and other minor development standards in the zone to allow the development of single family detached structures on lots currently requiring attached units.

The purpose of the second hearing is to consider an amendment to the Holladay City Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 13.45, Office, Research Park and Development Zone. The proposed text change includes various amendments to the development standards in the chapter.

The proposed ordinances are available for public inspection and may be examined during regular business hours at the Holladay City offices, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, Utah, 84117.
