NOTICE OF A WORK MEETING OF THE
CITY OF HOLLADAY CITY COUNCIL
THURSDAY, JULY 8, 2010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a work meeting on Thursday, July 8 at 5:00pm. (The Council will be eating dinner during the discussion beginning at 5pm) The meeting will be held in the Mt. Olympus Room at Holladay City Hall – 4580 S 2300 E. NO decisions will be made at this meeting.
The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Welcome & Call to Order – Mayor Pro-tem Palmer
2. Update on Holladay Village
a. Update on Advisory Committee –update from Committee meetings reviewing appeal of Planning Commission approval
b. Construction Update on Plaza
c. Discussion on Plaza Landscaping – Meridith Perkins, Arborist– selection of tree species for planting in the Village
3. Interview Planning Commission nominees – nominees for three upcoming vacancies on the commission will be interviewed by the Council
4. Discussion on Proposed Encroachment Issue – a portion of a fence at 5225 Westmoor Rd encroaches in the public Right of Way and the applicant is seeking relief.
5. Review and Discussion of Holladay's July 4th Celebration and planning for next year
6. Update on Development Projects in Cottonwood Heights
a. Update on Cottonwood Heights’ proposed Canyons Resort Residential ordinance (Tavaci)
b. Update on Cottonwood Heights’ General Plan amendments to allow for 12 story bldgs. (Beckstrand Old Mill IV)
7. Review of Council Goals
Review of goals and assignments from the Council’s annual planning retreat in Jan.
9. Calendar – upcoming meetings
10. Other Business
11. Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-204 & 205 to Discuss Personnel Issues, Potential Litigation and Property Acquisition and Disposition –(If needed)
12. Adjourn
On Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:00 am a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and the State noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
