The City Council will hold a work meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 5:00pm. The agenda is now available.
NOTICE OF A WORK MEETING OF THE
CITY OF HOLLADAY CITY COUNCIL
THURSDAY, MARCH 11, 2010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a work meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 5:00pm. (The Council will be eating dinner during the discussion beginning at 5pm) The meeting will be held in the Mt. Olympus Room at Holladay City Hall – 4580 S 2300 E. NO decisions will be made at this meeting.
The agenda shall be as follows:
1. Welcome & Call to Order – Mayor Webb
2. Review of Arts Council Events
a. Beth Bruner – Holladay Arts Council - Update from the City’s Art Council on events & activities.
3. UFA Update – Chief Marty Slack , United Fire Authority (UFA)
4. Discussion on Proposed Rezone for the Tiburon Apts
Proposal to go from C-2 (commercial) to RM (Mulitfamily Residential) failed. Council will discuss other options
5. Discussion on School Awards
Consider ways to get more involved in the schools and offering awards to graduating Seniors
6. Discussion on July 4th Event
Council will be discussing ideas for activities, entertainment etc.
7. Update on Holladay Village
a. Update on Advisory Committee – Forming committee to review the appeal of the Planning Commission’s final site plan approval for the Village Center Block 1
8. Update on Cottonwood Mall –
status of General Growth Properties (based on news reports)
9. Calendar – upcoming meetings
10. Other Business
a. Status of parking at Tuscany/Franc’s – continue to receive complaints from neighbors of valet parking on city park property
11. Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-204 & 205 to Discuss Personnel Issues, Potential Litigation and Property Acquisition and Disposition –(If needed)
12. Adjourn
On Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 am a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the City of Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah. A copy of this notice was faxed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder. A copy was also faxed or emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray City pursuant to Section 10-9-103.5 of the Utah Code. The agenda was also posted at city hall, Holladay Library, city internet website at www.cityofholladay.com and the State noticing website at http://pmn.utah.gov.
