The City Council and the Redevelopment Agency Board will hold a joint Public Hearing on Thursday, May 3, 2012 as close to 6:00 p.m. as possible to consider amendments to the 2011-12 fiscal year budgets. Continue reading for more information and to review the budget amendments.

The 2010 Salt Lake City Marathon & 5K will take place on Saturday April 17th beginning at 6am so plan your day accordingly. Come out and cheer the runners and cyclists on as they run and bike past your house! Once arriving in Holladay, participants will have run nearly 10 miles and will need an extra boost of energy. A Celebration Location has been strategically placed, including live music, to help motivate and take their minds off the task at hand. This is a great place to all gather and cheer in force. The location and hours of operation on race day is as follows: Holladay City Hall 4580 South 2300 East 6:15a.m. to 10:30 a.m
Also, at least one lane of traffic is kept open in one direction to facilitate traffic flow along the race course. The only exception is 6200 South from Holladay Blvd to 2300 East where both lanes will be closed during the race. Many of the runners should be through Holladay by 11:00am.
